GROOMING RECORDS:

In the grooming salon, the following information is stored in an online and/or paper based format;

• Any personal details you have given to Cats Paws Pet Grooming , such as your name, phone numbers, address and e-mail address. 

• Any details you have given to Cats Paws Pet Grooming about your pet, such as their name, age, breed, colour, gender etc.

• Any details of what Cats Paws Pet Grooming has done during the groom including dates visited. 

• Any traits/likes or dislikes of your pet such as, sensitive feet etc.

• Your pet’s temperament within the salon – good, nervous, tendency to bite etc.

• Any medical problems that either, you make us aware of, or that we find as part of the grooming process. 

Your name, contact number and pet’s name are also stored on Cats Paws Pet Grooming mobile phone to enable us to contact you for the above reasons. No other details are held on the phone about you and the phone is kept safe and secured by the available security settings on the device.

Any non-returning customer files or deceased pet files will be destroyed within 5 years of non-attendance at the salon.

Cats Paws Pet Grooming keeps records of all pets and their treatments. Client data will be treated in accordance to the data protection principles of the Data Protection Act and will not be shared with 3rd parties.

SLANDER: 

Under the Malicious Communications Act 1998 Section 1, Cats Paws Pet Grooming will not accept or tolerate any slander, malicious falsehood or defamation via social media outlets.
